As some of you might know, a smaller selection of Up The Wooden Hills’ dresses are avaialable at the U.S. based shop Audrey Grace. Just in time for the launch of their webshop Erin Perez Hagstrom of Calivintage shot a lookbook for the store with a selection of the clothes that were going to be available in the online shop.

A little more than a week ago Erin published some of the pictures from the lookbook on her blog and I was so delighted to see her wearing my Lucy kaftan in some of the photos. The lookbook also included garments from other designers that I adore so much - Wayward Daughter, Lauren Moffatt and Kelsey Genna
All the lookbook pics were taken by photographer Diane Vo and the shoot took place in different parts of Berkeley Hills in California. I thought Erin looked so wonderful in all of the garments and I love how her beautiful tattoos also added a new dimension to each look.

I’m so fond of this editorial style shoot and since Erin is a great inspiration of mine I just had to share some of the pictures from it here on the blog as well. If you want to read more about the lookbook shot or just get inspired by Erin’s beautiful style you you can pop over to her blog :)

Summer Dreams Repost: Belle Été by Anja Verdugo

Bellé Été Photography: Anja Verdugo | Styling: Megan Hart & Anja Verdugo  | Make-up: Nica Demaria  | Hair: Megan Hart | Photo Assistant: Dalas Verdugo  | Models: Haley Martin & Kathleen Evans  | Wardrobe: Nadinoo, Up the Wooden Hills, Anna Allen, Clever Nettle, Summerland

Today I'm doing a repost of the editorial Belle Été that was published last July on photographer Anja Verdugo's blog Clever Nettle. Since it has been such lovely summer days here in Gothenburg this week I came to think of that I wanted to show these wonderful pictures again that were taken in a beautiful old house located on Sauvie Island in Portland, Oregon. I contributed with one of my dresses to the shoot and it traveled all the way across the globe to Portland. I was so excited about seeing the results of this editorial through Anja's eyes and it was of course more beautiful and dreamy then I could ever have imagined. The entire shoot also included garments made by Anna Allen, Nadinoo as well as pieces from Clever Nettle and Summerland.

Everytime I see them I want to go to the countryside and just sit on a porch reading a book or lay flat on the back in the grass and enjoy the sunshine. Somehow the house and location of this shoot also made me think about the movie Grey Gardens that I adore so much too.

Wishing you all a delightful Friday!

Oh, I am in dress making heaven right now! I'm spending each day by the sewing machine and shipping dresses to different destinations in the world. I feel very happy and this week the sun has been shining each day :)

Today I thought I'd share with you some pics from my working days in the studio. I really enjoy taking pictures again now that I have another camera lens, as I mentioned in the blog post before. I'm still trying to get used to it and I look forward to show some more pictures I've taken soon.

I hope you enjoy these pics for the moment! See you within the next few days :)

Summer Days

DSC_02030I know the blog has been quiet a lot lately. So many things are happening in the real world at the moment! Summer here is the most hectic work time of the year and besides spending all the days in the studio I try to enjoy the sunshine as much as possible. The summer weather has been a bit weird in Sweden this year, but the few days with sun and warmth has been absolutely wonderful. This season is really is the best time of the year!

Last week I borrowed a camera lens from a friend and suddenly taking pictures with my Nikon camera became fun again. Above is the first picture I took - a bit blurry but I like that the lens captured the lightning and the mood so well, unlike my old lens.

Some pictures from my work days in the studio is coming up next. See you soon!
